PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Sylvia's Swimwear was a privately held swimwear company in the apparel & fashion industry that specialized in swim, sport & resort in the greater Seattle area. A majority women owned business founded in 1975 by Sylvia Powell of Bellevue, WA, Sylvia's supplied swim team suits, resortwear, sport wear and other related swim items throughout the Northwest. In 2000, Sylvia sold the company after 25 years of specializing in women’s, men’s, kid’s, team and accessories for swim. In 2016, Sylvia passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
