Northeast Los Angeles Shares Network (NELA-Shares.Net)

Northeast Los Angeles Shares Network (NELA-Shares.Net) is a member-owned cooperative service for residents of Northeast LA neighborhoods like Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Highland Park, Silverlake, Echo Park, Atwater Village, El Soreno, Elysian Heights, Boyle Heights, Mt. Washington, East LA, and Downtown LA. We hope to expand to serve the entire region, and federate with all our neighboring communities’ own cooperative networks. We will offer superior mesh network and DC power distribution service at near cost, with tools that make it easy to share the stuff you’re not always using (like tools and video discs). Every subscriber is a voting member, so we all have a say in the kinds of items and services we want to share among our communities.
