Description
Information
Liquid Farm was founded in 2009 with the intention of producing old world style wines that can be appreciated, enjoyed, and shared. The name Liquid Farm is exactly what it sounds like, "liquid from farming.” It is not about one person, it’s about the family vineyards we work with and our focus from the beginning is to showcase the “unicorn” vineyards of Sta. Rita Hills. Our winemaking philosophy is natural to allow the wines to be in their purest forms without the use of modern manipulations. The Sta. Rita Hills is one of the most unique growing areas in North America due to a cool coastal influence that helps to keep high natural acidity in the wines that we produce. Our primary love has always been to make a Burgundian-style Chardonnay and as the project evolved we have been fortunate enough to work with kick-ass vineyards that has expanded our project to include Pinot Noir and Bandol-style Rosé.
