We’re back! We have a new name for a new era! For twenty years we were known as Applications Unlimited International, Inc. in Southern California. After a brief time away, we have officially returned to the installation world, with a new company name, DT Installations. We are now a family owned business, as our sons have joined the team. We were always known for providing excellent and timely service with an experienced installation and management team. Our company had been members of the UASG & PDAA and will seek reentry upon meeting the necessary qualifications. We were at the forefront of the industry when the graphics world went digital in the early 1990’s and the “mobile billboard” concept was created for buses, vehicles, trains, planes and trailers. Our installation and management services were requested around the country and the world for many high profile projects. During the 1990’s we also became a valued source for retail store sign & retrofit projects. Our most notable project was for Lucky Stores, a super market chain, who was undergoing a complete sign package retrofit for 550 stores in three states (California, Nevada, and New Mexico). We were responsible for inventory control, staffing and scheduling for multiple bases of operations in Northern & Southern California. Each store required approximately 120 man-hours to process the designated work and we completed the entire project in less than nine months. Lucky Stores was so impressed with our performance they had us take over the maintenance of their sign program after completion of the retrofit.
