Berkeley County Council

Established on May 15, 1772, Berkeley County is in eastern region of West Virginia on the Interstate 81 corridor and is positioned between Maryland and Virginia and within a two-hour drive of Washington, D.C. The budget-balancing arm of the Berkeley County government also oversees planning, development, engineering and inspections; purchasing, information technology, community corrections and resource recovery services.
