Windows 8 educational apps. A group of teachers find the best apps for education in Windows 8 and, afterwards they test them and give advice to the community for the best way of using them in the classroom Teachnology was initially created by Ovi Barceló (SP) as a blog to promote and analyze Windows 8 Educational Apps in Spanish. To that idea a bilingual edition was added and Luis Fernandes (PT) was invited to be the Portuguese editor and then João Cunha (PT) also joined the blog.   Just in few days around 25 Apps were analyzed and ready to become public, which we did on April 2nd 2013. Then we agreed on the basic principles that we named Terms and Conditions to welcome new contributors and to clear our role and affiliation to all developers. The feedback to our blog was so good that we immediately felt the need to find new contributors and new sections. So Clive Bridges (SP) entered as English contributor. From that the blog grew everyday: new contributors Rui Lima (PT), Andy Li (HK), Daniel Sharpe (USA), Mariló Martinez (SP), Todd LaVogue (USA) and Susana Felício (PT). And starting today: Ivan Rebuli (BR), Martin Lindved (DK) and Pernille Reenberg (DK).
