Peninsula Home Care has been providing award-winning care to patients on Delmarva since 1985. Licensed and certified, we offer highly a hi-tech/hi-touch approach to recovery from illness, injury and surgery that helps patients reach their full potential – and avoid hospital readmission – in the comfort of their homes. Our offices in Salisbury and Ocean Pines, Maryland serve Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties; our office in Seaford, Delaware serves Sussex and the lower part of Kent counties. All these areas are growing centers for retirees and pre-retirees for the very same reasons our own people like to live and work on Delmarva: work/life balance, ocean and bay living, affordability, very little traffic and a moderate climate. PHC offers a full complement of services, including Case Management, Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Home Health Aides. While we are best known for our personal touch, our commitment to technology is clear. In 2014 we were first in Maryland to offer Wound Care e-STIM and the first to launch a Community Health Workers Program on the MD Eastern Shore. That same year we became the first (and only Home Care) to offer Saebo Neurological Orthotic Devices in Delaware and Maryland. Other PHC firsts: in-home chemotherapy for breast and colon cancer (2012); Point of Care electronic medical records (2010) and e-STIM physical therapy program to prevent and manage pain.
