Our Story: Malabar Baby was founded by Anjali Harjani, an ex-finance professional from New York that now spends most of her time with talented textile designers in Asia. Anjali created Malabar Baby 5 years ago, with the simple thought that good bedding was fundamental to her night's sleep, so of course it was a top priority when considering the comfort of her child. While pregnant, she looked high and low to find bedding, swaddles and lifestyle accessories that were genuinely safe, eco-friendly, made of high-quality breathable materials, and not boring! Unfortunately, nothing she could find at the time was affordable or accessible so she quit her ten-year stint in the corporate world and began the journey that ultimately lead to the the birth of Malabar Baby. Soft + Sustainable Culture: From the day we started we knew creating long-lasting sustainable products for you and your baby was our mission. With COVID we have personally seen Malabar Baby find a special place in our clients daily routines and the importance of buying meaningful products for the home and daily routines couldn’t be more important. The products we design, the amazing artisan artisans we collaborate with in India and the community are unique at Malabar Baby and the reason why we come to work everyday!
