About Us Why Extend My Seat? Short Answer; Because you are currently cramped in your car and you need more legroom to be comfortable. Cars these days are getting smaller and smaller. Bottom line is that most cars are not designed for bigger people (taller than 6’). Sure you can go out and buy a bigger car (more expensive) but for most of us, that’s not an option. Not only is leg-room a major problem for big and tall people but there are very few options to extend your cars legroom on the market. Up untill now, the most viable option was visiting your local fabricator or custom shop and paying several hundreds, even thousands of dollars for a custom solution. Option two was to be cramped and uncomfortable in your car. This is a problem that needed solving. We believe that Extend My Seat has solved the problem. We started with an idea and made it a reality.
