Solutions CPI Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition Training: CPI Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition training blends the Claudia Allen Cognitive Disabilities Model and Kitwood’s model of person-centered care with CPI verbal de-escalation techniques and expertise, to provide caregivers with the tools they need to be the best care partner for those living with different stages of dementia while mitigating or eliminating pharmacological interventions. Two-Day Dementia Capable Care: Dementia Therapy Applications: Building on the Foundation Course, this curriculum takes a deeper dive into therapy-specific information relative to assessment, care approaches, documentation, and maintenance programs.
