Set in the heart of the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest, the Daintree Ecolodge combines nature, nurture and culture in a pure rainforest environment. Believed to be over 180 million years old, and the oldest tropical lowland rainforest on Earth, the Daintree Rainforest is a rare and precious botanical treasure. Nestled amongst the foliage, the Daintree Ecolodge showcases 15 eco-friendly bayans (treehouses) immersed in the breathtaking rainforest canopy. Rise to the sound of the birds in the rainforest above, breathe-in the fresh tropical air and discover the lodge's private onsite waterfall on a leisurely stroll through the enchanting rainforest. The Daintree Ecolodge provides the perfect base to explore the treasures of the Daintree region; the only place in the world where two UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites meet (the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef)! The Daintree Ecolodge is located 110 kilometres north of Cairns (90 minutes) and 45 kilometres north of Port Douglas (40 minutes) via sealed roads.
