CrossCore is a boutique real estate investment and advisory firm with offices in Maryland and in Washington, DC. CrossCore pursues acquisition opportunities as sponsor or co-investor through CrossCore Investment Group, targeting middle-market transactions. The firm also works with a select group of private owners and developers in an advisory capacity under CrossCore Advisors, focusing on fundraising (of both GP and LP capital), underwriting/due diligence, deal structuring and investment management. In this role, CrossCore advises clients on existing assets, proposed acquisitions, and planned development opportunities, helping source complementary capital providers and structure equity, preferred equity and mezzanine debt investments. CrossCore's Principal has had broad experience at both the operating and portfolio management level in conventional property types (office, for-sale residential, retail, industrial, multi-family and hotels) and “non-core” assets (self-storage, medical office buildings, data centers and raw land), having spent more than 15 years in the institutional advisory and private equity fund management world with top-tier firms including LaSalle Advisors, Starwood Capital Group, JPMorgan Partners and Fortress Investment Group . He has overseen complex ground-up development projects and re-positioning programs and headed a variety of recapitalization efforts for both stabilized and non-stabilized properties as well as operating entities. He also led the start-up and growth of a property services company that provided leasing, property management and construction management services to advisory and third-party clients nationwide. He has developed an extensive national network of owner, investor, lender, broker and operating partner relationships, with an East Coast concentration from Boston to the Carolinas, and has had investment management responsibilities for assets and operating platforms throughout Asia, Europe and South America.
