Columbus Crew

The first club in Major League Soccer. The Columbus Crew is operated by The Edwards Family and Haslam Sports Group. Opened June 29, 2021, Lower.com Field, the Crew’s new state-of-the-art home located in Astor Park, has been awarded the 2021 Harrison W. Smith Award by the Columbus Downtown Commission and the 2021 James B. Recchie Design Award by Columbus Landmarks. The Black & Gold are the 2020 MLS Cup Champions and won its first MLS Cup championship in 2008. The Club has also won the 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as well as MLS Supporters’ Shield titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009. The 2020 campaign was the Crew’s 25th season in MLS and the 21st season at Historic Crew Stadium -- the first soccer-specific stadium in the United States.
